help: Unable to change channels using numeric remote keys or keyboard

Greetings,

I am a first-time gbpvr user. I was able to successfully install the gbpvr software and configure it using my Hauppauge pvr500. I signed up for an account with schedules direct. Gbpvr was able to connect to the site and download channel information. I am able to change channels one at a time from say 25 to 26 using the remote and also with the mouse. I am able to use the guide, find a channel I want to watch, and switch directly to that channel. What I cannot do is simply use the remote control number keys or keyboard number keys to change from say channel 24 to 82. The numbers will appear in the gbpvr screen, but the channel never changes. Can anyone provide some assistance? Thanks!

The most common reason for this is that the user is typing a channel number that doesnt exist. ie, if you look on the 'Channels' tab in the config app, are the channel numbers what you'd expect? Sometimes they've been assigned different numbers than what the user was expecting.

Thanks sub! That was it. There was one listing of channels located under the capture device, but the other tab had the channels with different numbers. I never entered them that way so I don't know how they got there. I deleted all of the channels under the capture device and then the unreferenced channels under the channels tab. Then I redownloaded the channel information. Everything works now. Thanks!
