hello all,

what is the meaning of the season-record-type:

record season (all episodes in this timeslot, this channel)?

what is timeslot precise?

- same weekday, same time (exact)
- same weekday
- same weekday, same time (+- x hours)

thx for help

As far as i've been using it, it seems to record every day at the same time.
Simple as that.

example:

enterprise starts normally every sunday on channel xy at 15:00

after a few weeks the channel will move it to 17:00.

will it be recorded (with option timeslot) or not?

other example:

show xyz starts normally every tuesday on channel xy at 0:30. but next week it starts 45min earlier (monday 23:45).

in this case, will it be recorded (with option timeslot) or not?

thx for help

The two options with season record are

1. Record ever instance of this program on channel x with a start time of y and an end time of z

eg. Enterprise on channel 1, starting at 8:00pm, ending at 9:00pm. Sub may have some margin for error. ie it may not be rigid on start and end time but may be some thing like 7:30 to 9:30.

2. The other record seaon option is record all instances of program on channel x. In other words, if GBPVR sees an episode of Enteprise on channel 1, it will flag it for recording.

Cheers,
Colin.

that is the question. is timeslot the exact start-/endtime or how different can it be?

To be within the 'timeslot' the program must start within 2hrs +/- the originally scheduled recording start time. The size of this timeslot can be configured in config.xml if required. Its current 120 minutes.
