DVB-S USB Recommendations Please

There is no sign of any errors there, but the device never manages to lock onto a signal. Maybe double check you've got the correct LNB settings and correct satellite selected. Also confirm you can tune those channels in some other software you might have.

Following on from not finding any channels, I installed the sw supplied with the USB DVB-S, BlazeDTV (upgraded to v3.5).

Blaze finds sat channels - great!

But then PVRx2 finds channels - but only if run after Blaze ! and only ever BBC1 East (W) - whatever that is, and lots of them - see screen shot.

Also scan in PVRx2 sometimes crashed with ntdll.dll error - seen elsewhere in forum.

So I installed MS patch mentioned in your forum - WindowsXP-KB896626-v2-x86-ENU.exe. This seems to help, but not entirely cure crashes.

Sorry, I'm not really sure. There must be something quirky about this device's drivers that doesnt like the way GB-PVR does things.

hmmmm

shame. This is perhaps a Tuning issue - only Blaze can change channel, PVRx2 only sees the channel set by Blaze.
