Channel scan issue with Dvico fusionhdtv 5 USB for unencrypted Comcast channel

Hey guys I am new to gbpvr and I have search everywhere for a solution but can not find one.

I have everything setup and right now just trying to scan for channels for mapping.
I am using this bda setting for the dvico fusion 5 usb:

TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
TUNING_SPECIAL=2
FILTER_TUNER=Bluebird, BDA Tuner1
FILTER_CAPTURE=Bluebird, WDM TsCapture1
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

The problem is that when I do a scan for channels, I would get signal when it comes to a frequency that suppose to have channels, but it actually doesn't pick up any channels, I only see the signal reading go up for a split second and it moves on to the next frequency

Any help would be great at this point as I am about to give up and just use the dvico software

Try using the utility at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=38408

Try the "Center frequencies" setting and then rescanning.

thanks whurlston for the quick reply, but I think i have already took a look at the qam manager. I might have already scanned using all 3 type of settings, but i can give it another shot.

Is there anywhere in the Dvico software that tell you the frequency that the missing channels are using?

Can you do a scan, then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log files?

no luck with the a channel sticking. Again I would get signal readings but it just runs pass it. I have attach the configexe logs after I did the scan below.
The dvico software gives the following info on a channel:

CH: Service: Encrypt: Type: RF: and MODUL:
a sample channel would read
CH: D771 Service: D771 Encrypt:unencrypted Type:256Q RF:77 and MODUL:502
