Hi, i have a pvr-150 for a while, working good. Today I added a HVR-1600, and the remote stopped working. By putting the IR receiver cable in the HVR-1600 card, now this card works fine, but the PVR-150 stopped working.

For example, from channel 2 to 47, it's all analog, these channels work good thru HVR-1600. Above 47 is digital, and should work thru the PVR-150 with IR blaster to set top box). But, the IR blaster does not work. Do I need to put a IR cable in each card? If so, it seems to me that when i change a channel, it would change both the set top box and the internal tuner of HVR-1600, which would result in missed recordings for sure. I think I am missing something simple here! But I don't know why the PVR-150 stopped working. Maybe the device number is wrong, but the utility to find the device number finds nothing. The log for it says there is an error with drivers for PVR-150, and no mentions of HVR-1600.

Help would be appreciated!

Thank you,
Frank.

It might, but by plugging the remote in the last card installed, the remote works. It's just the my old card seems dead. I will re-install the drivers for that PVR-150 and see what happens, that might just kill the HVR-1600...

Actually, i can get the remote to change the set top box now, just needed to reconfig the plugin for channel changer on the new capture card installed. But, here's a newby question, if the remote changes both the set top box thru ir blaster on 1st card, and the internal tuner on 2nd card, how does GBpvr know which one to use! Maybe this is the source of my 1st card seemingly being dead, maybe it is not, maybe GBpvr simply doesn't know that above channel 47 it should use the 1st card instead of card #2... I hope i am not confusing things! Are both cards trying to capture the tv at the same time?
