Hi,

I'm replacing my media pc and will be setting up gbpvr on a new machine with the same tuner cards.

Is there an easy way to move my channel list or any other config to the new machine, or do I have to do everything from scratch?

I think if you have the same drive-letters and the tunercards are in the same order (same device number), I guess you'd be ok.
I did this last weekend, I changed my motherboard. I made sure everything was the same after instaling XP. Installed tunercard drivers and mpge-decoders etc. Then I installed GBPVR, stopped the recording-service, copied gbpvr.db3 and config.xml from the old install (which I backed up ofcourse) over the new ones.
Everything went smoothly. Make sure you install the same version that you had before, you can't copy the config and db3 files otherwise.

Good luck Hans

I've done this a few times and it works OK. Make sure the recordings are in place (and the same place) before the recording service fires up or they will be deleted from the database - though there is a config.xml entry to stop this behavour
