Hi Sub

I've just updated to 1.3.7.

I had a look at what happens with the precording position in the database - nice that it now includes the length as I had to calculate that in my script by various lookups to the other tables.
I also like the pary on the recordings - would be nice if its length is n indication of how far through the recording the playback position is.

However...

I noticed that when a recording ends the position is not updated.

eg, recording say 30 seconds and I play to recording to 15 seconds then stop.
I then resume and play to the end.
The recording position remains at the resumed position 15 seconds rather than either at the end or start.

Ideally, I guess you would want to put it at the start or end then you can test for that case and not show the resume menu button.

Can that be added?

cheers

Keith

there are settings in config for this..look for StoreResumeStartExclusion..
i do wish their operation were changed a bit too tho...as as you can see, watching till end of show 'resets' the watched indicator to previous position.....
[basically ignoring the new stop point]
the StoreResumeStartExclusion i have set to 0 and StoreResumeEndExclusion also...
still, watching till end resets it to the previously watched position..

i agree it would be nicer to have it stay at end if watched all the way through...
then the exclusions would mean something..[could set just the start one and leave end one at 0]

I tried setting StoreResumeStartExclusion and end to 1, they were 0 but that didn't make it remember the position when the recording hits the end.

I seems that the positions is only written then a recording is escaped rather than just reaching the end - but from a user point of view it should save the position anytime the recording is stopped even if it was by reaching the end, otherwise you come back to a recording and it says resume, so you naturally do because you think your part way through something and then you get that de-ja-vue (sp?) feeling - I'm sure I seem this program before.!!!
