missed recording data base locked.

I had set it to record grey's anatomy. Has worked up till now.
found this in the logs
something about database locked.
Is this common? Or did I do something to cause it?
All the shows before, and all the shows after recorded correctly.
Using the latest version on xp with 2 of the 2250 cards.

found this in the logs something about database locked.
Is this common? Or did I do something to cause it?

I'm sure sub is better at answering this, but running anything that alters the db can lock it. I think an epg update could do it or perhaps config.exe at the same time as pvrx2.exe is running, or a hung process. A reboot should clear it. I've locked the db a few times dealing with my currently huge EPG channel list.
As far as I can tell it's always been my fault that it was locked.

I read the ones that need a reboot, but that does not seem to be the case here.
I did not reboot after the failure, and it still recorded the shows set afterwards just fine.

Just wondering if it was a different problem since I didn't need a reboot to clear.
