Aspect ratio? get rid of the windows top and bottom bar

When I toggle F7 I still can not get rid of the windows top and bottom bar. I do I get rid of the bars to get the picture to fill the full 16:9 screen?

This might sound silly, but have you unticked "show in windowed mode" on the first config tab?

Try pressing alt-enter, or as tieke mentioned above - make sure youre not in window mode.

Thanks, yes I needed to uncheck the box on the first page.

I have to say I have gotten the HVR-2250 to work fine with the new version of GBPVR. I can record 2 HD or 2 SD programs at the same time. The only issue is the hang up watching live TV with the tunner switching from SD to HD.
