Dropping back to main menu when changing channels

Do you think this is a codec issue? Others are experiencing this issue also.

I think it is a Mux issue. I have this issue with the ATI/Cyberlink muxes but not TS. Even with those Muxes it seems to change channels once in awhile with SD feeds but never with HD.

It just affects actual channel changes when viewing live TV in timeshift mode, which I almost never do. 99.99% of the time I go back to the EPG anyway to make a channel change. I do that to go to the program I actually want to see vs taking the time to move through a bunch of channels with nothing interesting.

As the result it is no big deal for me and I have not reported it.

Well, I can predict when it will crash back to main menu - when I change a channel, it changes the channel number, and starts playing the audio from the new channel, but the video never changes! Stays that way for about 15 secs. then boom, back to main menu. If I go to LiveTV again, it is on the channel I had switched to before the crash.
I am using the TSMux.

That sounds a little different than the problem I was having. Your problem does sound more like a decoder issue. Try some others, see what you get.

That's definitely a decoder issue. I would try a different combination.

have same problem... ATI Theater 650 Pro (PCI).
