Hi.

First off, shot for a wicked program, seems far more stable than anything Ive tried prior, but having one major issue.

No picture or sound with TV. Finding the channels was no problem, but when I try view, there is nothing. I have tried changing the decoders (Arcsoft, FFDshow, Microsofts, and a couple of stragglers), but no luck. Am I in need of different ones, or am I way off?

Edit: Forgot to put in - v 1.3.7; capture card is "Easy TV TVB-T"; does work as I have had it on Media Portal, but MP was too temperamental with other things
Thanks muchly!

Your logs show that its not finding any appropriate decoders. For the Freeview in DVB-T in NZ, you need an HE-AAC decoder for the audio, and an H.264 decoder for the video.

You can download an HE-AAC decoder from http://blog.monogram.sk/janos/2008/04/20...oder-0950/. Put it in a directory somewhere and register it with regsvr32.

For H.264 decoders, most people are using the Cyberlink H.264 decoder from PowerDVD. I have heard others saying they're using decoders like the 'MPC HC' or CoreAVC decoders, but I dont personally use these so cant vouch for them.

Outstanding!

Had a few problems installing the HE AAC decoder, turned out I needed to do it from cmd prompt as an administrator.

Works perfect now, a million thanks to you both. Wink
