Hi I have a strange DVD problem.
Whenever I am playing a DVD and I am navigating the menu I can't see the cursor.
I know it's there and I know it works because for example if menu has 4 items and I load the DVD and click DOWN twice and click ENTER it will enter the third item on the menu. But i can't see the cursor moving or whenever it's actually set on something. I hope this makes any sense. I'll be happy to clarify. Thanks for your help!

Some combinations of dvd navigator and dvd decoder can cause this. Try some other combination.

What decoder are you using? I had this with one of the PDVD decoders, annoyingly I cant remember which and I'm at work so cant access the PVR to look. PDVD7 came with two options in the config prog, one did just as you describe above, the other worked perfectly, so try playing around or looking for various other decoders people recommend on this board.

Thank you guys. Changing to a different decoder fixed it.
Since I seem to have you attention i have another DVD related question.

I am using the same audio decoded for both DVD and Live TV but the volume during DVD blayback is considerably lower. What could be causing it and how can I fix it. Thank you for all your help!

It is most likely due to your DVDs being DolbyDigital or DTS and your live TV being mpeg audio. I've not found a way to "fix" this either, as I have the same thing where my DD audio is quieter than the standard mpeg audio of the SD TV channels. I turn up the volume on a DVD then nearly pass out when I go back to live TV! As far as I know there's not a lot that can be done here.
