Hey all, another new guy to GBPVR. I'm using a Hauppauge 1600 card with OTA hooked up to the ATSC connector and output from a satellite box to the QAM/Analog connector. I'm using mc2xml for the EPG and haven't had any problem downloading info from Titantv. Where I am having problems is in the Guide.

I have the set-top box captured as an analog device where I've added only one channel named "Dish". I have added the OTA to the digital recording plugin, updated the EPG, and mapped digital channels to EPG. I can see the channels, about 50, in the preview window so I know it's seeing the channels, I enable the channels I want, I then press Update EPG again and exit the program.

When I start the Guide, the only channel that shows is the analog one. I tried to Update the EPG from the Guide as well, but still only get the analog channel. What might I be doing wrong?

Thanks for your help,
Dave

When you go back into the ATSC capture source in the config app, are the channels ticked as 'enabled'?

Are you on Vista?

Usually they are not checked, so I check them again but still nothing in the Guide. I'm running XP SP3. Thanks again.

When you go back into the config app are they checked? It you tick them, then it'll automatically untick them when you leave the config app if you havnt mapped those channels. To confirm those channels are really enabled, then need to be ticked when you go into the config app (not after you manually try to tick them).

It sounds like these channels arent showing up because you didnt map them (by ticking enabled, and selecting the appropriate mapping in the drop down list for each channel).

I knew I was missing a step! Thanks Sub, I now have the channels showing. Now I need to work on getting the video a little less choppy on Live TV. I'm doing a test recording now to see how it will look.

Thanks again.
