Sleep mode in live TV

My PC is setup to go into sleep mode after 1 hour. When using the MVP for live TV the PC does not see that as activity, and goes into sleep mode after 1 hour. Does anyone have the same problem and is there a solution ?

I have the same issue. Have you learned anything about how to fix it? It also seems that when playing back video, the PC sill stop responding to the remote control but continue to stream the video. Seems like a "Wake on LAN" function would nudge the PC awake again once it goes to sleep.

Hey Jan,

i wrote a power management plugin so that I could change this from the MVP when I was watching on it. My machine falls asleep after 5 minutes. Unfortunately it does not work with the latest GBPVR so i need to go back and fix this.

I don't know how GBPVR can convince windows not to hibernate/suspend when the MVP is being used. Sub may have more on this, or possibly GBPVR could indicate to windows to not shutdown whilst the MVP server has a connection with a client?
