Stopping or re-starting recording service fails

If I stop or restart the recording service from the bat files in the GBPVR directory they seem to work.

If I right click on the "G" on the taskbar and select "stop" or "restart" the recording service I get the following error and the tray icon dissappears

any ideas?

You cant stop/restart the recording service from the tray icon in Vista. Normal user accounts of Vista do not have the rights required to stop/start services.

Clicking the 'ok' button in config app will restart it though. The config app runs as administrator and has the permissions required to do this.
