There are a number of bat files that can be run, none are necessary or supplied as standard. More info on the Wiki at http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/BatchFiles

Although in an earlier post you suggested multiple unattended recordings

Quote:My situation is that I typically schedule different recordings to occur throughout the day. I am at work when these recordings take place so I am definitely not using the pc during this time. It would be nice to have a "smart" option that knows when the last recording will stop and then shutdown the pc from there.

I use this netstat command to check whether MVP is connected before shutdown postprocessing.bat file. Perhaps there is an equivalent port that netstat can check for a client PC.

Dan L.

@echo off
netstat -an |find ":5906"|find /i "establ"
if %errorlevel%==1 goto hibernate
echo %date% %time% MVP is connected on port 5906. Will not suspend or hibernate. > hibernate.log
goto end
Dell Dual Core 6400 XP Pro, PVR500, HVR-1600, MVPs on Belkin wireless bridge
