Help with KWorld PlusTV HD USB 315U

Hey all, Dweeb Newbie here.
I have looked through the forum and tried to figure this out on my own but unfortunately it's over my head. Can anyone help me get this box working? Or at least send me to the right documentation as where to start?

The digital side of this device should work with GB-PVR. If you run the filtercheck.exe utility in the gbpvr directory, and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created, I'll let you know what to add to your bda.ini file to get it going.

The analog side of the device wont be usuable.

After adding it the EPG scanning picked up 7 terrestrial channels but the "Live TV" still didn't work. When I click on it it just goes black for a second then comes back to the menu. I'm also not sure what to choose to be able to change channels.

That device matches the 'Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick', so you should be able to choose that when you setup your digital capture source.

I've selected DVB EPG broadcast but am still not picking up any listings. Shouldn't those come through the broadcast single? I know I get them on a program that came with the box when I receive them that way..

One more question, why won't the analog side of this device work with gbpvr?

You're using ATSC, not DVB, so you're not going to get the DVB EPG. DVB is digital TV system used nearly everywhere outside of north america.

There is a similar ATSC EPG broadcast on ATSC, but its typically only broadcast on 'over the air' transmissions, not digital cable, and usually only has the next six hours of listings, which makes it next to useless, so I havnt bothered implementing support for it in GB-PVR.

One more question, why won't the analog side of this device work with gbpvr?

It lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.
