I've noticed a couple of things when I am watching a show that I am recording. (set up to record, start watching say 15 minutes later)

If you pause the screen, you get the show length, but that never updates, so if the length says 10 minutes and you are 20 minutes into the show it still says 10 minutes. Is there a way to repoll this info each time you pause?

Next, using skip ahead or back skips way ahead when the show is recording, and if you skip ahead past the end of the file you end up back at the menu. This happens in the case above too. Meaning, if you skip past the 10 minutes, even though the length is actually 20 minutes it still backs you out to the menu. This also doesn't set a resume point so you may have to skip ahead several times to catch up.

What version of gbpvr are you running? This behaviour sounds a bit like what I had for an older version of gbpvr.

With 0.23 watching in time-shift mode works very fine and the time-bar is kept up to date.

Well that's a good question. I thought it was 0.23 but I'll have to check when I get home!

EDIT: I am running 0.23.13 and I am having these issues. It is difficult to watch a program that is recording for the reasons I mentioned.

Same thing happens to me...I'm running the newest version of GBPVR too. There is only a problem when watching a show that is currently recording...otherwise ff/rwd and the on screen display are all accurate. So, I don't have a solution for you but at least you know yer not the only one!!
