I finally received a replacement main board for my PCH. It had the June 08 firmware in it (wouldn't you expect the latest firmware in a replacement?) so I upgraded it to the Jan 21 09 release (took over an hour to download it...56MB...their servers are really being hammered). Now I can't get it to run GB-PVR. I get the dreaded 'Request cannot be processed' error whenever I try. I'm using the same server to run it from that I did before I had to RMA it. I didn't change anything at all on it. It was running the 21Jan release and as far as I can tell I have the PCH set up as the same as it was pre_RMA. It sees the shares and I can play ripped DVDs and my recorded shows native just fine but it won't start GB-PVR. I'm running XP SP 3 on the server. I used the Dummies install on my other GB-PVR box (also XP SP3) and it installed just fine and everything looks OK but it also gives the same error. I'm very frustrated...it worked right off the bat the first time around. I can't see what the problem is. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Assuming you didn't do anything else to change the settings it is going to be how you named the mvpmc share. Check this thread for some likely scenarios.

Yep, that was it. I had changed the share name to improve the WAF.

Thanks for the quick response.

Having lived with my PC client box while waiting for the replacement board I really appreciate having the PCH back on line. I hope this one lasts longer.
