Sub, as a follow-up to this (partly influenced by a lack of response from Hauppauge) after the recent changes and improvements that we have been able to make on the PCH, it is really unlikely that I will attempt and mvpmc port to this model of the MediaMVP HD. While the chip might be better, it is not really exciting a concept for me. From where I am now I can only improve on the PCH interface, I can't see starting over for this.

Additionally, I feel the NMT could even be unique because of its rather basic software design since it allows mvpmcx2 to provide access to GBPVR in addition to the Syabas core media players for DVD and non-mpeg files. The next generation of GBPVR client might need to be the more expensive Ion's and eeeBoxes.

These devices are looking pretty good to me too. A client for these would be pretty sweet.

Its still a little early for them to publically talk about it, but you should be able to get some info about the next MVP pretty soon. After that you can see if it fits in with what you'd want for mvpmcx2, otherwise I'll look into what I could do to knock up a client. Hopefully it'll be something you want to port to though.
