I've got a Nova-T 500 on order, but whilst I'm waiting for it, I'm still trying to get my Nebula USB DVB tuner working nicely.
I'm basically randomly trying MUXs.
I've tested a number of MUXs, watching live TV via an MVP, and watching recordings back on my laptop having copied the .mpg to it to ensure no network issues are causing the glitches.
Here's where I've got to:
Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
VERSION: 5.0.2022
works fine for live tv and pausing
recording - glitches in the recording
Found: ATI MPEG Multiplexer
VERSION: 9.14.0.60504
live tv ok. pause & resume and sound drops out of sync tho
recordings - not too shabby, but still occassional glitches
Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
VERSION: 5.0.1307
Live tv- spot on
recording - crap.
Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
VERSION: 5.0.0727
live tv - looks good, audio stays in sync
recording - looks good, but there's still the odd glitch
So -
Is there anyone out there with a Nebula who gets spot on results? which MUX do you use?
Am I going to have problems trying to use the same MUX for the Nebula AND the Nova-T 500?
Thanks,
James
