Hello,

I had a fully working system, but I updated all the patches in the survival guide for the latest version. Now my video is black but I get sound.

Ive checked the overlay settings and tried all of them with no job, I uninstalled GBPvr and deleted the dir then reinstalled so it had no patches, but its still the same.

As far as I can remember it was working fine on the PC screen (I usually use MVP). I only realised when the MVP live tv was black, playing normal videos are fine.

As far as I can tell Vista has not updated the graphics drivers and ive not changed its settings

Im at a bit of a loss what to look at next ? Sad

What video decoder do you have selected on the playback tab of the config app?

Howdy

It is set to System Default, the other options are ATI Mpeg decoder
and MainConcept (Hauppauge).

I noticed if I run the digitv app and select video overlay as UYVY that works okay - only for 2 mins though as it is in demo mode due to the BDA driver Smile

And does setting it to either of those help? If not, then try the video decoder from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

Its best to not use the 'system default' setting, since windows effectively picks some random decoder.
