Channel scan crashing with NovaT500

Hi,
All the DVB-T frequencies in my area have been changed as of today, so I need to do a rescan. I've tried every solution I can find in the forum for fixing this problem, but I'm still having no success. The scan finds a few channels but then hangs on channel 18 of 57.

I know the card works fine as it was receiving all channels perfectly yesterday.

Any ideas?

I'm using 1.3.11 with XP and have added the three files at the end of the survival guide.

I could really use some help here, I've gone from a fully working PVR to having no channels at all overnight.

I could install an old version in order to scan, as I never had any problems before the last 2 versions, but I can't find any of the old install packages, could someone point me in the right direction or provide one?

Any of the 1.2x versions should be worth a go.

Those three files at the end of the survival guide... you have to install them. Overwrite your existing files with the new ones, and run Re-RegisterFilters.bat

Thanks, but I've already done both of those things, as well as troubleshooting direct x filters as described here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=40417&page=2 .

I tried scanning after each of those 3 steps, and the result was different each time, but no successful scan.

Any other ideas?

I managed to scan successfully at the first attempt using version 1.2.09, kindly supplied by peterh, so problem worked around, if not solved.

Are you getting all channels now then?

I still can't get any BBC channels, well most channels actually either through my Freeview telly or GBPVR, ouchy! I've going to try factory resetting the telly tonight to start with, and then it looks like I might have to roll back GBPVR too as mine can't pick up MUX1 at all and seems to crash on channel allocation

I was getting crashes and other problems finding channels. I just installed these 3 files and then set up the capture source again from scratch and it found all the channels first time. http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=8
