MP4 Conversion not working

I can record things ok, and have set the mp4 conversion to convert immediately. An empty MP4 file is created, but nothing more. I've tried doing "conversion processing" at a later time, but this doesn't work either.
I've not modified the config file, but it looks correct based on other postings.

Have I not setup gbpvr correctly ?

You cant record to .mp4, since that'd require transcoding of your MPEG2 broadcasts.

There are some known issues with converting .ts recordings to other formats. You should be able to convert from .mpg record to your .mp4 files though. In the UK with DVB-T you should be able to use the Cyberlink or ATI muxes to record .mpg files.
