After I map my Channels to the EPG, using the Map Channel button, I cannot view some of the channels in there. I don't know what information to post for you all to help us out. I am Using a Happauge HVR-1600, I can watch all the channels using WinTV, but some of them I CANNOT view in the GB-PVR Preview Window or PVRx2. It's just certain channels, mostly the main ones for my area. I was wondering why. If you need some more information, let me know what to post for you guys.

Thanks,

You can only view unencrypted channels. The channels you cant view are most likely encrypted premium channels.

The channel I am trying to view is unencrypted, it is Channel 4.1 in QAM. I can get only audio but no video in GBPVR. This is a standard unencrypted Channel for my area. So saying that they are the premium encrypted channels doesn't answer the question. Yeah, some channels I cannot view entirely, for that, I am sure they are the Premium Encrypted channels. So I am wondering this: Why do I only get audio on the STANDARD UNENCRYPTED Channels and no Video?

Thanks,

You're right. If you're getting audio, its unlikely its an encrypted channel.

Its most like related to the video decoder you're using.

I'm not 100% sure if your problem is the same. But you may want to check this thread here.

I was having issues with some channel can't be found during scan and qam.ini manager fixed it for me.

Give it a try.
