I'll give it a try this evening when I get home. It sounds...hopeful, if a little messy.

What worries me a little though is that people have reporting other software (DVDDream, DVBViewer, etc) continuing to be fine whereas GB-PVR is crashing. If everything is using the same DVB drivers/microsoft DLLs then the problem - although not strictly a GB-PVR problem - may still be patchable within GB-PVR.

Out of interest, what drivers are people using with the 7010 card? The Pinnacle or Blackgold ones? I'm on the Blackgold ones, and had tried a few different versions but it made no difference, other than affecting the time it took to change channels - with the newest being the slowest: 2-3 seconds to change a DVB-T channel, compared to 1-2 seconds on the older ones, compared with barely 1/2 second for the Nova-T. Guess which tuner handles our live TV :-)

It be working!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

(Hopefully, I've not spoken too soon, but that's a good 30 minutes of channel changes, flawless playback (SD and HD), and not a single crash).

Thats all good news, I haven't applied the patch yet I'll wait till the problem comes back first, but it looks very promising.
Sticky?
Thanks Pob
