Hi,
is there a way to switch the language when viewing a dual audio broadcast on an analog tuner (pvr 150)?
or yust to set it up so that it records both channels?

just for reference, for those users from the german speaking area Smile
i did a lot of digging and found old posts like this:http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=5...stcount=11 . after a bit of fiddling, i came to the following working solution:
AudioLang=2 in the direct.ini makes the PVR 150 record both audio channels.
the switch with the semicolon key sub mentioned, is actually mapped to ^G in the current release, which toggles nicely through both->left->right
just to try, i added the line
Code:
<command name="LIVETV_AUDIO_CHANNEL" key="^A"/>
to LiveTVTimeshiftPlayer.xml and LiveTVPreviewPlayer.xml (since ^G is mapped to Guide there) and now actually workes in this modes too!

unfortunately, it seems that the toggling through the audio channels does not work in 1.4.7 anymore?
PVRX2.log shows "2009-08-30 22:37:47.703 VERBOSE [1] Received event code: 32869".

As mentioned in that linked post, you needed to be using the 'MPEG2 Audio Decoder' decoder.

Are you maybe on Windows 7? If so, Microsoft seems to have removed the feature that I relied on to make this possible with the newest version of the OS. They may have even removed it in Vista.

It does still work with MainConcept decoder.

Its not possible with other audio decoder since there is no standard way to do this, so I have to add explicit code for each decoder I'd need to do this with.

All I can suggest is trying the MainConcept audio decoder. Its installed with the Hauppauge WinTV7 software.

ah, it works with that, thanks!
also, i didn't know where to get the mainconcept decoder until now. WinTV7 crashes with my PVR150, so i had uninstalled it.

hi,
since i had syncronisation problems with the mainconcept decoder, i delved deeper into the differences to 1.3.11, and found that it works again in 1.4.7 with the 1.3.11 nativeutilities.dll...

Not a good idea. You will find that you have problems with other things as that file does much more than just the audio channels.
