Graphrecorder does not seem to execute any of the commands and parameters I have on the "External via Executables" tab. The External via Graph tabs seem to work fine however. 
The only reason I am using the External tab is to power on my Motorola STB before tuning to a channel for preview or record. If I manually power on the STB the external preview graph loads and I get audio and video.
