We just got a new STB (Motorola DCT6416) for watching and recording digital HDTV. I am trying to integrate this STB somehow with GBPVR. We would like to be able to:
Here is what I have successfully accomplished so far on my own after lots of reading and some experiementing:
To summarize: any help with graphrecorder settings would be greatly appreciated!!!!
- preview live STB channels using the EPG in GBPVR
- record shows from STB channels using the EPG in GBPVR
Here is what I have successfully accomplished so far on my own after lots of reading and some experiementing:
- STB firewire connection to HTPC
- STB RCA composite connection to HTPC tuner card (hauppauge 500mce)
- Successfully installed firewire drivers and software (timmmore)
- confirmed firewire connection using vlc
- built and tested live preview graph for STB firewire source
- should I be using the first tab (via executables) and/or the other tabs?
- what goes in the device ID?
- what goes in the start recording executable and parameters?
- same question for the now, post, stop, start preview, etc fields?
- will this setup turn the STB box on and off as required to tune and/or record?
To summarize: any help with graphrecorder settings would be greatly appreciated!!!!
