Record in 640 X 480?

Is there a way to record 640 X 480? I've checked the config utility and there are no 4 X 3 options? Is there some way I can build a recording preset from scratch?

There is no option to record 640x480.

All analog video is recorded as 4:3, but this is 720x480. (remember pixels are not necessarily square, so resolution and aspect ratio are different concepts)

Okay. That's a bit confusing.

Widescreen 16:9 DVDs are also 720x480. Just a different aspect ratio.
