hello,

i've been using zap2xml wrapper (always latest) for updating EPG. like it very much because it can differentiate between different cable packages (affecting channel numbering) of my provider.

all works fine, EPG gets updated, but now i tried to use it with icons and they do get downloaded by zap2xml, ut i think i'm missing something as GB-PVR does not show them anyways (gif files).

here is my c:\program files (x86)\devnz\gbpvr\updatepg.bat file:
Quote:cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\devnz\gbpvr\Third Party\"

zap2xml\zap2xml.exe -u user -p pass -d 12 -o zap2xml\epgfile.xml -c zap2xml\cache -i zap2xml\icons

zap2xml.exe and sub-folders (icons and cache) are located in here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Devnz\GBPVR\Third Party\zap2xml\

any suggestions?

TIA.

GB-PVR wouldnt know to look in that directory for channel icons. It looks in "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\media\ChannelLogos".

oh i see now. sorry for late response, but i forgot to subscribe to this thread.
thanks for info sub!

update:
i copied over the icons files to gbpvr\media\ChannelLogos but for some reason they show up only for channels numbers above 37. when i check the directory i can see all of them in such naming conventions (example based on channel 36 SPIKETV - not working, and channel 37 SCIFI - working):
36.gif
36 spiketv.gif
spiketv.gif

37.gif
37 scifi.gif
scifi.gif

all images show up correctly in picture viewer though ... any thoughts?

update2:

LOL, nvm, it started working correctly after GB-PVR restart. thanks sub Smile
