EPG Stopped working

MY EPG in GBPVR has stopped working for some strange reason, using latest version onf GBPVR with XMLTV GUI and UK Digiguide. I have not changed anything for a while, so not sure why it's stopped working.

When I update the EPG through GBPVR it kicks ofXMLTV and pulls through the data from Digiguide which I can verify though the XML file created but in GBPVR all I get is (no show details) except where I have a recording setup.

Tried to update EPG from another PC and that worked, I'm wondering if the other PC is the one that is actually doing the update as it's always on and is a client.

How can I check?

right fixed the problem, I removed the channels from edit capture source and let the EPG put them back in, I can only think it has something to do with the update from the other PC screwing it up slightly.

the other PC was my original GBPVR server so has all the XMLTV and Digiguide installed but now is setup as a client, think I will remove most to stop this happening again.

it's done it again all EPG data has vanished, reloading doesnt work even though I have a 17mb XML file full of data.

I have attached the logs.

Your problem is happening because you're supplying GB-PVR an invalid xmltv file, which contains duplicate channel identifiers:

2009-06-09 23:38:56.296 ERROR [11] XMLTV: error reading xml: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'UK_Digi_308' Key being added: 'UK_Digi_308'

sub, thanks for that, I did notice the error in the log but thought the issue was with GBPVR.

I have removed the channels from Digiguie and added back in and all seems OK now.

hey there. Same problem.... No EPG update. when I run mc2xml.exe - it says

Loading.........: mc2xml
Downloading..: Microsoft.com
Status..........: No New Data

So nothing new since May 30th! Does that mean this service (mc3xml) is offline now?

ok ... update. Got into a terrible muddle refreshing my channels, so did a fresh reinstall. Followed the instructions for setting up EPG.

STILL get the No New Data message.

So ... question to you folks: what free service in the USA do you use for ATSC EPG?

What's your mc2xml command line like? I've been using it and haven't had any problems with getting data...just some other minor issues.
