Hauppauge MCE Soft Encoder bitrate

Is it possible to tweak the Hauppauge MCE Soft Encoder bitrate settings? Even when I increase the values in GB-PVR, they are always the same.

Sorry, no its not currently possible to control the bitrate when you use a soft encoder.

Sorry, but I've always been pretty clear around here that GB-PVR only offically supports analog on devices with hardware MPEG2 encoders.
