I have been trying out some things, I have copied the Video_ts folder to the PCH local disk and added it to the GBPVR directories and tried to play that from the Video Library, I get the same results, one more thing I noticed (and probably totally unrelated) is that although I have a DVD menu in the main menu of GBPVR when viewed on the Pc I do not have it on the PCH/GBPVR combination ie the TV.

If you add the PCH to your GBPVR setup you have to configure GBPVR to see the share. That is why I created the UseShare program because this is such a pain in Windows. Your WHS problem still sounds like it is permission related.
