Running GBPVR & NPVR

I installed NPVR to begin setting it up and getting it running. I tried to follow the instructions as closely as possible. Now when I click on the mvpmc share I get 2 options: GBPVR & NPVR. The problem I am having is that sometimes when I try to load NPVR I get the GBPVR menu coming up on my tv screen. Did I do something wrong.

AFAIR it is random as to which server will get connected to by an NMT and there is no way to select which you get. Other than stopping the service of one of them (which I do) or dropping the number of servers in config down to zero (not tried this yet).

With my PCH, I usually have some luck with restarting it and trying again. Usually, the second time it connects properly. I've never had to do this more than 3 times for it to work.

The only difference between the GBPVR and NPVR files in the mvpmc share is the visual change in names to respects sub's desire to stop using the GB-PVR brand. There are internal differences in mvpmcx2 but those will work regardless of how you start them.

martin123 is correct, you can't run MVP servers for both NPVR and GBPVR on the same machine at the same time.
