The new version seems to schedule partial title matches for recurring recordings.

eg
A recurring recording with the title "Lost" will match with programmes titled "Lost", "Lost ®" and "Lost and Found".

It seems as as long as the first part of the title string matches the rest is ignored.

Hmmm - to me that could be an advantage if it is meant to happen. It would help get round the problem of bad spelling from the Radio Times that has caused me to miss the odd show. A substring match could be handier though, but better with wildcard chars to play safe.

It wouldn't catch a misspelt title.

For me it just breaks XmltvGUI repeat flagging.

XmltvGUI adds ® to the end of a show title when it's flagged as a repeat.

Previously this meant repeats weren't scheduled, but with v1.4.7 they are.

Still I have a workaround, I modded the XmltvGUI post processor to add a space before the title as well as ® at the end. Now repeats aren't scheduled.
