It seems to think it changed to Channel 1, but it recorded the channel it was previously on (in this case #3).

I am using the IR that came with my WinTV-PVR-150MCE. IR Sender is on Blaster #1.

Normal channel changes work fine, but scheduled recordings don't seem to change. Any known issues?

I don't know if the PVR150MCE is different to the plain PVR150 that I use, but in my logs I get:-

How many PVR150's do you have - more than 1 ?? if so are your configs setup the same for both tuners ?. I ask because you say normal works, scheduled doesn't. If you have more than one tuner, they are used in a different order for manual and scheduled recordings (I know, I have been caught by this in the past).

Nope - only the one tuner card installed and only one setup in GBPVR.

Does your system go to sleep between recordings? If so, it could be a waking up problem. I've seen that before.

Nope - system runs 24/7, no sleep, hibernate or any other power save.
I can manually change the channel, with a recording scheduled for 5 minutes in the future and i notice it drops me out of watching live tv back to the menu, shows that its got a scheduled recording, but when i check later the recording is of the channel i was on, not the scheduled channel.

Do you have the tunercards numbered 1 and 2 in the capturesources tab? Because they both use the same drivers. I guess you did that because you would have had more problems probably. Make sure you got the right tuners selected in capture sources, I made that mistake before.:o

Lost me on that one HtV. I only have one capture source - and its the composite of the PVR150. Only one PVR150 installed, using composite only.

Sorry, I messed up completely. I was very tired when I wrote that, I think I read my own signature and thought it was yours. I remember thinking:"Hey he has a 150 and a 350 just like me".:o :o

Sorry I have nomore ideas.

I've looked all over to see if there is a solution to this problem, but since I haven't found it. Here we go, this thread is close enough. When startng pvrx2 it does not change the channel as the initial entry. So if I was watching channel 59 on my satelite and I went to bed. The scheduled recording or even if I was to open pvrx2 and try and watch another channel it would get channel 59. Yep that's right, after starting pvrx2-->tvguide-->choose channel and it ends up on the wrong channel. If I go up a channel and then back down the channel blaster works and everything is fine. If I need to post logs, just let me know. I can't figure out why it's doing this. For now, I've set my satelite up to automatically change the channels for it, in case it messes up.

Does it happen on every recording? If so, it sounds like your IR Blaster doesnt work from a different user account. (Recording Service runs as localsystem account)
