I have an encrypted channel that is also the one and only channel (to my knowledge) that has DVB subtitles. When viewing, regardless of DVB subtitles checkbox setting in config - the channel always opens without video, saying it is encrypted. Although I can see in the multidec plugin that it is getting decryption keys, and audio is working. After a minute or so it hangs with the message "No signal", which also hangs PVRX2...

My encrypted channels with DVB Subtitles seem to be working ok.

Create a c:\temp directory, and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPSIProcessing=2, then reproduce the problem, then post the c:\temp\psi.log and I'll take a look. You'll need to remove the registry setting afterwards or playback will suffer.

As far as I can tell in that log, it definitely looks like its playing its part and asking multidec to decrypt the right channel.

There is one more thing I should check though. Can you post your tuning request for Animal Planet (from your scan cache file)? I'll double check its asking for the correct audio video pids to be decrypted.

Yes, I'll post that tonight. Btw, where are those files? Just to save me some time for searching for them...

Also, as I recall I had that channel working Ok for some time in 1.4.7. I am not 100% sure, but I think it was ok for a while. But now despite having removed mappings and rescanned the tuners several times I cannot get Animal planet to work at all.

The cache files are in "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\bda"

Ok, got it.

I compared the data from this scan cache with an older installation I had. The V pid is different. In the submitted data the video pid is 7926. In my older scan, the pid is 1089. All other data equal.

I can't test and simply edit the files since I have a recording running. But I suspect it would solve the issue. How it got to be wrong is another matter though...

EDIT: I applied the 1089 video pid to the scan file, mapped the channel again (no rescan), and picture! So the video pid was indeed wrong in the scan cache. But why?

EDIT 2: DVB subtitles seems to be working! Although the text looks a bit crappy. In particular m and W gets weird probably due to that they are cramped in too little horizontal space.
