ParallelProcessing.bat not working in timeshifting

Hi,

I've been trying to get ParallelProcessing.bat to work in timeshift mode (I'm assuming it counts as a 'recording'), but it doesn't seem to get called.

is there something in config.xml I have to change to tell the software to run parallelprocessing, or is it supposed to be done automatically?

It doesnt count as a recording in that sense, so ParallelProcessing.bat and PostProcessing.bat are not run.

ah, yikes.. I was hoping to put CCExtractor in there and view live closed captions.. since that way I can toggle them on/off. thanks anyway.

You might be able to rig something up using the ".exe channel changer".

I thought of doing that, but the only argument I would get fed is the channel number right? (not the filename of the recording)

A more adventurous way would be to find the newest file in the buffer directory..

sub, if the SRT viewer is enabled in config, does it also get used in the timeshifting playback graph, or no?

To be honest, I cant remember.

Eventghost can be configured to monitor a directory for a file creation event, then trigger actions based on that event. Give it a try.

Would RecordingStatus.bat do the trick? (just been investigating issues around parallelprocessing.bat myself, hence the revival of this thread).
