Do you have the same or a similar tuner?

I started over, I reformatted the hard drive and installed XP SP3 and GBPVR 1.4.7. I still have same three issues:
  1. When I record a show from LiveTV while time-shift mode the recording does not stop until I restart the service or record another show from the TVGuide.
  2. When I record a show from LiveTV while time-shift mode I cannot change the channel, I have to exit LiveTV and start again.
  3. When I change the channel in time-shift mode there is a second pause after the channel changes.
I always use time-shift mode, so I am not sure what happens otherwise. I do not remember the 1st and 2nd problem with GBPVR 1.3.11, but I have just started using GBPVR. I will try GBPVR 1.3.11 and see if I had all three problems or not.

I tried GBPVR 1.3.11 and I was wrong, I have the same problems. I guess I was busy with skins, channel icons, and extra video information and did not realize it did not work. I am surprised this behavior is caused by a tuner card.

There are a few of us that have experienced this. Its not your cards. The same thing happened with my hauppauge 2250 card.

Any solution to getting the recording to stop on it's own after pressing Record when in Time-Shift mode?
I found that if I go back to the Menu and choose LiveTV again, it cancels the recording without any indication.
