HD video displays top left of image only

Yeah, I don't have any problems with interlaced material with EVR.
Guess I just have a lucky combination of codecs & hardware.

I dont use DVD's so couldnt tell you about that.

Did anyone find the cause of this? I had it with the MS Win7 H264 decoder but had no desire to use it so didn't much care as the PDVD9 one works fine. I've just installed CoreAVC2 for the laugh to see how it copes with 1080i material compared to 1.9.5 and I get this top left of image only thing (which I never got with 1.9.5). So as said, I can see a very large BBC HD logo and little else.

I have the same problem with dvr-ms files recorded playing back in overlay mode.
if i start, stop and resume enough times i can get it to play right, most of the time - just wondering if any one else fixed this
