Tried searching the other threads but didn't see any thing that helped. For the most part recording that are scheduled work fine but there are times it just does not start. The one thing I noticed when looking over the log is that there always seems to be no log of when the recording failed. There seems to be nothing showing up in the event viewer that show any errors happening. I have the firewall disabled and the antivirus installed in avg.

You'll need to post the logs, along with the time/name of the recording.

If there is no log message anywhere near the time it should of occurred and/or the recording shows up in the as 'failed' in the Recordings screen, then this is usually a signed the machine was switched off at the time the recording should have occurred.

The computer is pretty much on all the time and the logs of when it failed to record are just not there. I search the logs that are there for the words fail error or memory but nothing is found. Might be something randomly stopping the service but does not show up in the event viewer. The logs that I am looking through are the ones I stoped and restarted the service but there is one log that looks like it just ended with no error or anything just looks like it cut off. I just noticed this when looking in the native logs.

There is no error there. Its normal to see that connect error with PVR150/500.

Post the logs next time a recording doesnt happen, along with details of the name/time of what should have recorded, and I'll take a look at the log.
