Is TV Innlandet still transmitting?

In the UK, we have some channels that broadcast only during the day and some that broadcast only during the evening. I can do a new scan in the day and the scan cache will have 40 channels. I can scan again in the evening and the scan cache will have 45 channels. The evening cache will include the daytime only channels plus the evening only channels.

What is in the scan cache if you rename the existing cache file to blah.backup and do a new scan?

On the analog broadcast we have some frequencies that shares a channel number so it may be different at day and nighttime, but the digital channels are the same all 24 hours. I'v scanned many times and they are always the same.

Sorry ... my fault. I was trying to say that channels that have stopped transmitting might stay in scan cache (perhaps for weeks or months).

I can confirm that multirecording works with encrypted channels and NewCS/Acamd. However, when I record more than one channel at a capture device only the first channel set up for recording is decrypted. Is this due to a limitation in MDAPI or is it the recording service?

I'v tried searching for TSOffDec to do offline decrypting but cannot find it, anyone know where to download it?

I found it yes, but I had no success getting it working. It seems to me that it doesn't find the correct ECM-PID. However I have had some success, se my other thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post352960

Hi Reddwarf,

I am just starting my learning curve with DVB-C, also with a Terratec Cinergy C card.

Can you point me to an overview of how to setup Multidec for use with GBPVR? I've looked around, and most of the comments are for advanced users, and not beginners like me!

Thanks,
Dane

Unfortunately there are no wiki or other instructions made for gbpvr, and with the new release of version 1.5, which will be quite different from 1.4, I will not spend much time writing a wiki which will be obselote soon.

There is a number of softcam's that can be used with the Mdapifilter, I will recommend Acamd, but others may work well. It's your chioce if you will use a cardserver together with Acamd but I will recommend that, even if the setup is a bit more complicated.

First make sure your capture device is set up properly and working, I belive most cable providers have at least one unencrypted channel which you can use to test. Next step is to download NewCS (the cardserver), version 1.65 is the last one to run under windows (find the download which contains NewcsGUI), newer versions only runs under Linux and that is a different story :p. Instructions that comes with the download package should not be too hard to understand.

Download and install Mdapifilter, search the forums for the version that works well with gbpvr. Download Acamd (v 0.6.11 works, but newer may also work), put the files in MDplugins folder under GBPVR (Acamd.dll etc). Edit the cardclient.conf to match the IP-address and portnr you have specified in NewCS.xml.

Feel free to ask for help and good luck! Smile
