I'm not too concerned w/ programming selection... they'll both give me what I want to watch. I'm concerned about tuning.
I'll have 3 Hauppauge NTSC tuners (1 PVR 150, and 1 PVR 500). Right now the PVR 150 is pulling channels off the standard cable and I'm happy. I tried using the digital box from Comcast, but channel changing didn't always happen correctly, and I never played with it enough to get it working.
With Comcast, I know that (for now) I can just tie the cable into a splitter and get three feeds, one for each tuner.
With DirectTV, I'll need 3 boxes, right?
What would you choose? (Let's say for sake of argument, that I can get bundles of equal cost and channel line-ups from either.)
