No Record Overlap from Live TV

Is this normal behavior for GBPVR:

I've been watching live tv for a while and a scheduled recording comes on the same channel. The live tv stops, screen goes black, and the live recording picks up, loosing several minutes of the scheduled recording.

Is that normal?

If you've only got one tuner, then yes that is the expected behaviour.

normally it just skips padding in scheduled recording...shouldn't lose any more than that..
[it normally stops livetv about a minute before scheduled one's start time,without padding]

That's probably something that should be changed. I would think that the software is smart enough to continue recording on the same channel that I'm watching, and not cut anything off or loose video from the SCHEDULED recording. At least, a cable dvr is smart enough to do that. :p
