Picture Library not translated to german

hi all,

my installed gbpvr version is 1.4.7
in the main menu not correct translated "Picture Library" to "Bildergalerie"
(german word)
in the language file "LANGUAGE.DEU.xml" is correct translated.
have you tips ?

You might want to look at how the translations are implemented using excel sheet and a macro to generate the language specific xml(s). From that you can make your own language.DEU.xml. The wiki has some answers.

If translations don't work, sometimes spelling errors and things such as missed spaces, colons, capitalizations and such are the cause.

If you say the line is correctly translated in deu.xml, then I'd double check the spelling/casing.

Edit: I checked the xml in the wiki (I'm not at home right to check the file supplied with the current version, butI'm guessing it's the same one)

Could it be that GBPvr translation scheme is case sensitive? Try changing it to Picture Library.
GB-pvr is very liberal when it comes to translations, so there has to be something that isn't quite the same, for it to fail.

As an example of how liberal it is: while testing the weather2 translation a few days ago I had a line that translated "1" to a weather description, and whenever I click "1" in my remote while watching Live TV, I got that description displayed in the top corner, instead of number sequence.

It definitely is, see the "weather2-translations-project". And you have caught the problem for "the Picture Library" as well

i have change in the language.deu.xml file
from "Picture library" to "Picture Library" (big L)
now correct in the main menu translated.
