did i screw up?! x64/gbvr/hauppauge 1800

hello - i just ordered a secondhand dell, comes with XP 64-bit. Did I just mess up? I've heard that many apps will not run .... just wondering what experiences folks have add with XP 64-bit (Pentium D) and GBPVR etc?

GBPVR will run fine on an x64 system. The only thing to remember is that it still runs as a 32 bit app so any decoders that you want to use (AC3Filter, ffdshow, etct) will need to be the 32 bit versions if you want to use them in GBPVR.
