issues connecting to EWA over net

I set up GBPVR for my mom and with it EWA. I have sucessfully been able to connect to it from my work and home. But i seem to not be able to connect to it from some of my computers here in the house. I am using dyndns as its a dynamic ip.

So i have consitently been able to connect to both my home gbpvr and my moms from work, i am having trouble connecting from my home hetwork to my moms gbpvr as well as mine, so i think it has something to do with my network, How can i troubleshoot.

Within your home network you might have to use the lan-ip because your router probably doesn't support loopback, that is using the wan-ip (dyndns) inside your lan.

That's a good bet....let us know if using the LAN local IP instead of the dyndns account in your house works.

Thanks guys, i am an idiot i had transposed the last 2 digits of the port.

I am able to use both the dyndns link and the local ip to connect form within my network, i also can now connect to my moms gbpvr computer as well
