The attached spreadsheet generates .INI files for the BDA\DVB-T folder. A generated file will contain the channel and frequency (mux) information for a UK transmitter after it switches to digital only.

The sheet relies on data from www.ukfree.tv (thank you to Brian). The channels/muxes available on a transmitter may change in future.

Sounds good. Is there a macro for generating files for all regions?

I looked at Excel VB to do this but it's too opaque for me. I couldn't even find a way to save the file from inside ExceI without the file being cluttered up with double quotes. I was hoping for a volunteer to do some VB (or whatever) stuff.

Your VB tricks are way beyond my efforts - I was using text tools to convert between the ini files and a .csv file.

Can I nick your excellent effort to enter the current UK list?

After such kind words, how can I refuse. I can cope with the string handling functions in Excel that are used in the sheet. It's "real" VB that baffles me.

I suspect that the current INI files are still correct for pre switch over transmitters. It may be that the offsets are missing or incorrect in the current INI files.

After I had spent too long copying from ukfree.tv, I found these before and after DSO tables ...

They are from the Lords of All Frequencies and should be definitive.

Good Luck
