A-100 Not Responsive to Remote

The only function that works is STOP... and, sometimes, PAUSE, but not always.

I can't REWIND, FF, SKIP. When I resume a show it always starts at the beginning, there is no prompt to Resume/Restart. Also, my shows all have Comskip files associated with them, but no commercials are ever skipped.

Basically, navigation is not working. I have PLAY and STOP.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. I must be missing something fundamental.

Yes one of the fundamental things you missed is you need to compress and upload your GBPVR logs. My guess is your MAC address is set wrong.

Well, I got this sorted out. The problem is/was how GBPVR sees my A100s on my wireless network, on which I use wireless bridges to each of my two A100s (that is how I had my old MVPs setup as well).

Martin, I looked in the logs and saw that the GBPVR was seeing the MAC address for my A100 was as the MAC address of my wireless bridge! The light bulb then went off in my head. I went into config.xml and changed the MAC ids for the A100s from their rightful MACs to the MAC of each of my wireless bridges and my problem was solved! I'm now getting full navigation capability as well as the on screed displays.
